… for this to work beautifully, like a Disney experience…
— NO shop talk 10:30-2:30 … we are providing an experience, and the Characters are real… if Disney can create magic out of nothing… imagine what we can do with something as great as eXp…

— we MUST edify eXp vs uplines… no “Hatfields and McCoy” talk in the Plano lunch and learns… let’s stick to Disney magic where all of the characters dance together, around the castle….
~Big Hugs, Bettina

Please be reminded of the following: We have the space reserved for 2 hours, so please do not linger and clean up as we leave. Thanks so much.

Please pass this Updated Luncheon etiquette along to your teams (this seems elementary, but, this is “Our Business”.)

And, it should be from 11:30 to 1:00PM (in Dallas), we will introduce the Luncheon Sponsor at about 11:50/55 so that they have enough time to introduce themselves and the product that they represent.

Lunch and Learn, professionalism rules:

1.     Show up on time. (Make sure your guests do too. Invite 3 and bring one.)
2.     Dress appropriately, for the sake of our luncheon sponsors, do not wear any polo shirts or name badges for any other company besides eXp. And if your guest has a name badge on, ask them to put them in their pocket. (As a courtesy, especially if we have a competing sponsor.) If there is not a luncheon sponsor, please pay for your meal and your guests.
3.     Turn off the ringer on your phone, do not take or make ‘text messages’ during the presentation, it is unprofessional and it doesn’t send the right message to every one. Don’t eat or get up for any reason, this is distracting to others and our presenter. This is our company, let’s make it great.
4.     Be positive, stay on point and know your other eXp’ers stories, so that when you introduce them to your guest, they feel more comfortable. (During small talk, we suggest that you talk about how technology is changing your life and the world. Remember that this is part of our ‘Agent Attraction’ side of our business.)
5.     Know that EVERYTHING we do, should be duplicatable.
6.     Make sure that the GUESTS EAT FIRST (just in case there are more people who show up than food). Unlikely, but please.
7.     Guests should sit up front (obviously with you), close to the monitor and speaker. (If there are not enough seats, eXp’ers should volunteer their seat to guests.)
8.     Luncheon eXp agent that procured Luncheon Sponsor introduces them 7 to 8 minutes prior to …. an other eXp agent should introduce the speaker.
9.     Send out that afternoon, appropriate thank yous to your guests and any information you promised them.

The luncheon sponsor will provide:

  1. Biz cards and information on their company.
  2. A sign in sheet for agents/brokers to sign in for their follow up.
  3. Enough food, bottled water, plates, plastic wear, napkins for XX people.
  4. Good idea to have a bowl (container) for the sponsor to collect cards and have a drawing for a gift card.
  5. Show up with everything at least 20 to 25 minutes prior to their introduction. (Set up and mingle time.) In some cases, as time permits, we will stay on or meet somewhere close to talk about deals and individual needs.

Thanks y’all for helping make eXp Realty the best ever!
